ASTANGA
VINYASA: SENIOR TEACHERS
There are many wonderful senior astanga teachers.
The following are the ones I have been lucky enough

The centre created by Sri K. Pattabhi Jois (guruji),
founder of astanga vinyasa yoga, in Mysore, India. The
lineage is continued by Saraswati and Sharath Rangaswamy

here.

And
finally gratitude ...
Thanks to Fay
Davey for designing this beautiful, practical website.
I have been lucky enough to collaborate with some fantastic
photographers in the process of making and developing
this website. One or two of the images are by students
thank you for letting me use them. Hsinyi Ku
took the pictures of astanga classes back in the day,
and Chris Lewis took the pictures on the Astanga Vinyasa
and Vinyasa Flow pages. Javier
Luna took the exquisite pictures on the Slow Yoga
page. Shawn Ballantine
photographed the Phoenix Rising session with great sensitivity.
Irina Krivoshekova and Elena Andreeva took the fabulous
images on the Dance Movement page. Im always interested
in working with talented photographers with a love of
photographing moving bodies please get
in touch.
Thanks to Alex Nikiforov for collaborating with me on
the dance photo shoot, and to the band of crazy dancers
who showed up and created something wonderful. Thanks
to Maria ODonnell for being the client for the
Phoenix Rising photo shoot, and to movers in my classes,
at various times and in various places, for agreeing
to appear in photos on this site.
NAMASTE!
